The facility to schedule post is a massive time saver for busy business owners. We don’t always have time to login to Facebook each day and post new content on our business page. However it is important to post as frequently as possible (every day if you can).
The facility to schedule posts makes posting easier. Dedicate some time each week to schedule posts for the week ahead. You can then schedule something for each day.
Here are the simple steps to schedule your Facebook posts. You can do this via the Pages App on your smart phone or on your Facebook page on your PC or Laptop.
From Mobile – using the Facebook Pages App.
Step One: When writing a post on your business page using the Pages app for your smart phone, you’ll notice three little dots (circled in red in the graphic below). Click on these dots and Publishing Options will appear.
Step Two: Select the day and time you wish to schedule your post in the Publishing Options provided. and Click Done.
From Facebook – on your PC or Laptop.
Step One: When writing a post on your business page, you’ll notice there is an arrow beside the Post button. Click on this arrow and the Schedule Post option appears.
Step Two: Select the day and time you wish to schedule your post in the Publishing Options provided. and Click Schedule.
If you later decide you would rather not post the scheduled post on the day it has been scheduled for you can use your Activity Log to either re-schedule, delete or edit any scheduled posts.
