Bringing an infectious smile and an inspirational outlook to the studio, Monali is a passionate and clever web developer.

Ratnapura, the city of gems in Sri Lanka, was Monali’s home town before she migrated to Australia in 2019 with her husband, to start her career as a web developer. Mon started her IT career teaching Information Technology at a Government School (Dharmaloka collage) in Sri Lanka for five years before dreaming about a career shift to being a web developer. Mon joined Evolution as a trainee, now Junior, web developer where she is refining her development skills and learning the tricks of the trade.

Monali is all about stepping out of her comfort zone and giving things a try. She’s passionate about uplifting others and helping to bring a smile to someone else’s face.

Awards / Achievements

• My biggest achievement is winning the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) award, presented at the MIEE exchange global forum held in Canada in 2016. (I have been selected for the MIEE award three times in a row).

Passions

• My favourite food is Spicy kottu followed by an Ice cream.
• I’m always up for Travel, feeling the beauty of nature and bringing a smile to someone’s face.
• My favourite quote is:
