Project Scope
When Karly and Liam from Geelong Slip Testing approached our team, they were preparing to launch a brand-new business built on Liam’s 25 years of experience in the flooring industry. With strong relationships already established across Geelong, the Bellarine and the Surf Coast, the goal was to create a brand that felt professional, credible and a little different from the usual safety industry look.
The brief gave our designers plenty of creative freedom, which we always love. Rather than leaning into the typical red and yellow safety palette, the brand was designed to stand apart with a modern grey base paired with a blue and purple gradient. The result feels technical, trustworthy and contemporary, while still standing out in the industry.
At the centre of the brand is a stylised “S” for Slip, featuring a subtle directional arrow integrated into the top of the letter. This small detail hints at movement, testing direction and improvement, a clever nod to the service itself. The identity was also designed to be flexible, with abbreviated versions including a standalone S emblem and shortened wordmark variations.
Beyond the branding, we designed and developed the Geelong Slip Testing website to give the new business a strong online presence from day one. The site clearly explains the benefits of slip resistance testing, outlines their services, and provides simple ways for businesses to book consultations or testing.
We also created social media graphics and a range of brand mockups to help the business visualise how the new identity would appear across marketing materials as they grow.
Working with Karly and Liam was an absolute pleasure, and we’re excited to see this business build a strong reputation across the region.
