Part of the Meridian Agriculture family, Work on Farm redefines recruiting in the Agriculture industry. Unlike many other recruitment agencies, Work on Farm understands in inner workings of the relatively tight-nit local Agriculture employment scene.
A gap in the market for an anonymous, candidate first approach was identified. Meridian Ag’s Work on Farm was ready for deployment.
Evolution was engaged as product designers and workflow consultants to create a custom web experience that was seamless for all stakeholders. Through consultations and workflow diagrams, we worked closely with Meridian Ag to flesh out functionality requirements and user journeys. Keeping in mind the variety of end users the website needed to facilitate.
Attracting young job seekers and experience farm owners was a challenge identified early on. Creating a site that said what it needed to say to both audiences was the focus and resulted in bold headings, direct messaging and minimal options for exploring.
Comprehensive user testing and process refining continues to polish this custom platform. The Work on Farm website is an engaging and unique look into how recruiting can be flipped on it’s head.
