It’s time to say goodbye Yarra St!

Thank You /

January 2021

Goodbye 63 Yarra Street.

It is with a heavy heart that we prepare to say goodbye to our beautiful building here in Yarra Street. This beautiful building, full of character and history is not ageing well, and no matter how many times we repaint her interior, there is a lot letting her down.

She’s been good to us for the most part of four years, and we’ve put a lot of love into her interior renovation, but we’ve had water in through our ceiling in our front room, too many times to count … heartbreakingly, it seems she’s unrepairable. So it’s time for us to move on to someplace new.

We’re hoping this move will be bittersweet, and we find a new premise that we fall in love with like we did with this old girl. We’re not ones for the stuffy-office vibe and looking for something with some pizzazz and character, otherwise you can be sure we will add some of our own creative flair.

We look forward to raindrops on the rooftop that don’t sink our hearts into dread of having to mop up the rain or race in on our days off.

It could be said we’ve done the hard yards and have certainly been loyal to our building, we’ve found it hard to let go, but like any long-term relationship, sometimes it’s time to move on. Or as Kenny Rodgers says “you’ve gotta know when to hold’em and know when to run.”

So, if you or someone you know has a premise for our team of 5, in the Geelong CBD that you think would suit our vibe, please, please, please let us know! We will be forever grateful and promise to supply you with delicious, delicious coffee (or tea) each and every visit. And we will shower you with gratitude!

We’ve loved welcoming you all to our Yarra Street studio and we look forward to announcing a new address very soon! Till then we are doing the working from home thing, so meetings will be covid-style, via zoom! We hope you understand and appreciate this is not our long-term plan to remain in limbo or homebased for too long!

We ask for your support during this transitional, evolutionary time and thank you all for your ongoing support!

With gratitude,
